New Master Program in Finance at University of Geneva – Deadline March 31, 2021
The University of Geneva launches a new Master of Advanced Studies in Finance Program. The unique and innovative 9-months program will expose students to the most exciting developments in finance, including private equity, hedge funds, real estate investment, sustainable finance, neurofinance, and fintech. Courses will be held in English, with a part-time option for working professionals. Applications will be accepted until the end of March 2021.
Future Food Fellowship Postdoctoral Programme at ETH/EPFL welcomes Japanese Applicants – Deadline 31 March 2021

Master of Advanced Studies: European and International Governance – Deadline 20 March 2021
The University of Geneva is currently accepting applications for the Master of Advanced Studies in European and International Governance 2021-2022 (MEIG Programme) which is organized in cooperation with the United Nations Office at Geneva. Students of all nationalities are invited to apply and submit their applications for both the 10-month course and a scholarship.
Tokyo Financial Award 2020: Application Open for Excellent Financial Services
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is seeking foreign and Japanese financial companies and startups providing innovative solutions and services that meet the Tokyo citizens’ needs and challenges. The three financial institutes with the best products will be presented with the Tokyo Financial Award 2020 as well as money prizes totaling 18M JPY.
New Call for Bridging Grants with Japan – Deadline 30 September 2020

Switzerland is currently accepting proposals for Bridging Grants with Japan. The call is aimed at building on existing collaboration between Japanese and Swiss researchers. Not only joint research projects but also past workshops or seminars that have been jointly organized would qualify. It is open to all scientific disciplines and fields of research. Selected proposals will receive up to CHF 25’000 for a maximum duration of 12 months. Applications will be accepted until September 30, 2020 (CET).

Cyber-Defence Fellowship Programs open for Japanese Talents in Switzerland – Deadline 31 August 2020
The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) and the Swiss Cyber-Defense (CYD) Campus jointly launched a new fellowship program for Cyber-Defence Research to build the next generation of research leaders in cyber-security. The second call for proposals is now open. Citizens of any nationality are encouraged to submit applications. The program offers funding for 6-month Master theses, 4-year PhDs, and (up to) 2-year postdocs under the supervision of a professor at a Swiss higher education institution and a CYD Campus researcher.
Special COVID-19 Call for Projects Grants with Japan – Deadline 30 August 2020

Switzerland launched a new special COVID-19 Call for Project Grants between Swiss and Japanese academia. Proposals of all scientific disciplines and fields of research including social sciences and humanities are accepted. Selected projects will receive a grant sum of max. 25k CHF for a duration of up to 12 months.

New Call for Innovation Partnership Grants with Japan – Deadline 30 July

A new call for Innovation Partnership Grants between Swiss academia and Japanese innovation agents including industry and start-ups is now open. All scientific disciplines including social sciences and humanities are eligible. Selected projects will receive funding up to 20k CHF for a duration of up to 12 months.
