Vote for CSEM – top innovator of Europe!

CSEM, the Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology, was selected by the European Commission to participate in the Innovation Radar among 40 top innovators from 17 countries in Europe!

During the whole month of August, the innovation_radar_prize_ict_proposers_day_2016_1024x512_14707_1public can vote for their favorite innovator among 40 nominees who have been developing digital innovations through EU-funded projects. The nominees come from every corner of Europe, and can be SMEs, university teams, spinoffs and start-ups.

CSEM has applied its know-how to realize the first online monitoring platform for a Multi-Organ-Chip (MOC) system. CSEM printed electrochemical sensors will allow parallel measurements providing real-time data for multiple in-vitro cell culture metabolism markers. The solution implements sample handling and incubation, measurement, system washing, and calibration. The direct connection of the online monitoring platform to the Multi-Organ-Chip is also being evaluated. This work is being undertaken as part of the ongoing Horizon 2020 GateOne projectcsem
