Mr. Trieu graduated from ECAL (École Cantonale D’Art de Lausanne) where he studied graphic design.
His first encounter with Japan was through the Embassy of Switzerland, working as an intern for the Science & Technology Office Tokyo between September 2014 and February 2015.
One of the highlights among his accomplishments during this time was the designing of the website for the architecture exhibition JP-CH 2014 Building in Context: Contemporary Japanese Architecture in Switzerland which featured very prominent architects from Japan. He also supported the team of designers from the HEAD/University of Art and Design in Geneva with the posters, banners and digital presentations shown in Tokyo.
Another major achievement was creating the Annual Report 2014 for the Science & Technology Office Tokyo. The report carried special importance as it was for the year celebrating the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Japan. The new format he curated received praise from many readers.
The Tokyo TDC Prize-winning work is to be exhibited in Tokyo early June next year. The exhibition is expected to then travel to Kyoto as well as other locations including Shanghai, China.
