TwentyGreen AG, a Swiss company, announced the establishment of a sister company in Fukuoka, Japan.
TwentyGreen, based in Luzern, Switzerland, is an active Start-up company in the bio-technology industry, producing a triple active probiotic that addresses the three major problems of intensive animal farming. The new probiotic innovated at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne EPFL, results in better digestion and responses to plant based feeds, better feed conversion ratio (hence reduced costs), less disease and less pollution. The bioactive supplement that is mixed into animal feed improves the composition and function of symbiotic organisms that colonize the gastrointestinal tract.
On August 8, 2016, TwentyGreen Japan was registered in Fukuoka City, on Japan’s southern island, Kyushu. Fukuoka city has an advantage since it is the centre of Kyushu Island where the aquaculture is the most active in Japan.
TwentyGreen Japan will primarily focus on Tuna and Shrimp farming. The company will be open to seek collaborations with the relevant entities so that TwentyGreen Japan can develop the appropriate products suitable for the circumstance of Japan and its market.
