According to the Global Innovation Index, Switzerland has been ranked as the most innovative country in the world for 4 consecutive years. There are numerous good reasons for that: highly educated talents, plentiful research budget, world top level universities and research institutions, liberal economic system, political stability, outstanding infrastructure, high standard of living, and a competitive tax system.
METI, Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, promotes Japanese SME’s expansion worldwide as a program called “J Start-up” and host a seminar “J Start-up Hour”. On 28th May, Switzerland is invited and will introduce the reasons why Switzerland can maintain its highly innovative position and Swiss countermeasures for SMEs to overcome the Corona crisis.
