UZH alumni welcome newcomers
UZH Alumni Chapter Japan welcomed on Friday evening the newcomers from the University of Zurich to Japan. 14 exchange students and alumni gathered at a conveniently located pub in Osaki, Tokyo. Ms. Rahel Kaegi-Romero, head of the local Alumni chapter sent out the invitation to all its members and posted it on their Facebook page — immediately several members signed up.
The university of Zurich did not only send students studying Japanese to Japan; a group of UZH law students is now studying at the prestigious Keio University in Tokyo for one semester. Several more students are in the Kansai region, doing their exchange semesters for example at the private Doshisha University in Kyoto.
Conclusion: Everyone seemed satisfied and very happy with their studies at their host universities and with their lives in Japan!
