Swiss Team Solidus wins 3rd place at RoboCup 2017 Logistics League

Congratulations to Team Solidus of the technical college Höhere Fachschule Für Technik Mittelland for grabbing 3rd place in the Logistics League, Industrial Robot division at RoboCup 2017 Nagoya, Japan! It was the third consecutive year that the teamof the Swiss technical college in the Canton of Biel/Bienne finished in one of the top 3 slots.

This year, the team competed against six other teams consisting of five universities and one team from the sponsor of the race; Solidus was the only non-university or professional participant in this particular race. The entire event, held from 27 to 31 July, attracted some 392 teams from approximately 40 countries and around 130,000 visitors. From Switzerland, team NomadZ from ETH Zurich also participated in the RoboCup Soccer Standard Platform Race in which 24 universities took part.
