New Call for Innovation Partnership Grants to support cooperation between Swiss researchers and Japan

A new call has been launched for Innovation Partnership Grants to support collaboration between Swiss Researchers from universities, universities of applied sciences or public research institutes with non-academic innovation agents in Japan and other Asian countries. The goal of the innovation partnership grants is to initiate long-term partnerships with mutually beneficial concrete outcomes. These agents can be corporates, SMEs or start-ups, innovation parks or similar entities with a focus on applied sciences or technical development.
Researchers from all scientific disciplines and fields of research, including social sciences and humanities, are eligible to apply.

The Maximum amount for an innovation partnership grant is 20’000 CHF.

Deadline for submission: 28 February 2018
Evaluation & funding decision:  April 2018
Notification and project start:  May 2018

A second call for innovation partnership grants is planned for spring 2019.

The Leading House ETH Zurich will support cooperation in innovation with several different instruments for the funding period 2017-2020.
