Re-Importation 02 :Design Exhibition of ECAL Japanese graduates

Japanese young designers who graduated from ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne) will be joining forces for the second time to organize an exhibition from October 16th to October 22nd in Roppongi, Tokyo.

Along with other Japanese designers who studied abroad, they will display their works and at the same time present Swiss and foreign art and design schools to visitors.

An opening party will also be held on Monday 16th October from 6pm with the support of the Science and Technology Office, so make sure to join us and visit the exhibition !

  • 世界初の身につけられる電子時計がスイスで発明されてから50年――。 スイス電子工学・マイクロ技術研究センター(CSEM)は、この画期的な出来事を記念して、ウェアラブル・デバイスの最新技術をご紹介する技術ワークショップを開催します。半世紀前に電子腕時計の第一号の開発を担ったCSEMは、今日もスイスの産業界、特に超低電力マイクロエレクトロニクス、最先端マイクロテクノロジー、複雑なスマートシステムなどの分野で、イノベーションの最前線にいます。 ワークショップに続いて、在日スイス大使館で大使主催のレセプションも開催いたします。 多くの皆様のご参加をお待ちしております。The Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM) is pleased to invite you to celebrate together the 50th anniversary of the world’s first electronic watch invented in Switzerland. This was the first wearable device ever.
    To commemorate this milestone, a technology workshop focusing on the latest technologies of wearable devices will be organized by CSEM, the institution that was behind the first electronic watch half a century ago, and that is at the forefront of innovation in Switzerland’s industry today, in particular for ultra-low power microelectronics, cutting edge microtechnology or complex, smart Systems.

Presentation & Discussion Series with Speakers from Switzerland

The S&T Office Tokyo at the Embassy of Switzerland in Japan, in collaboration with the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan SCCIJ is organizing a presentation series, inviting Swiss speakers to talk and discuss their experiences in Japan. Please join us for interesting talks, discussions and networking; Participation is free, but registration is required!

Please note that due to high-demand we would like to limit this series to people who have a connection to Switzerland and can contribute to the discussion.
