Applications open for the 8th Undergraduate Summer School in biological sciences at the University of Lausanne

The University of Lausanne (UNIL) announced a new call for applications for the 2018 Summer Undergraduate Research (SUR) Programme in biological sciences. The English-taught 8-week programme (July 4th to August 29th, 2018) is open to around 15 bachelor students from all over the world and aims at introducing to them the world of biological and biomedical research.
UNIL is unique in having a combined Faculty of Biology and Medicine, and each participant will be integrated in a different research laboratory of the Faculty. Beside working in the lab, students will also be able to enjoy various social activities and appreciate the ideal situation of Lausanne, surrounded by the Leman lake and the mountains.
The university welcomes students studying any field in the life sciences, as well as those pursuing medical studies. Students of any nationality, studying in any country, are welcome to apply, but should have very good English language skills.

A full scholarship which covers tuition costs, living expenses and justified travel costs will be awarded to all selected participants.

Deadline for application: January 31st, 2018, midnight CET.
