Maxon celebrates 30 years in Japan with special guests including robots!

img_4033Maxon Japan Corp. celeberated its 30th anniversary in Japan this fall. The Japanese arm of Maxon Motors AG was congratulated by many happy clients including Kawada Robotics Corp. and Cybathlon contender Xiborg.

CEO Eugen Elmiger and other executives from the Swiss parent as well as the South Korean subsidiary joined the commemorative event, together with Maxon Japan’s Honorary Chairman Mr. Sami Kaneko and Managing Director Mr. Steve Funasho. SoftBank Robotics Corp.’s “Pepper” robot as well as Kawada’s robot NEXTAGE were also present.

Maxon Motors is the worldwide leading provider of high-precision drive systems. The Sachseln, Switzerland-based company supplies DC motors, gearheads, sensors, servo amplifiers, positioning controllers, CIM and MIM components and customized drives in the medical, industrial automation, security, measuring and testing, communication, automotive, aerospace and consumer application markets.
